Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, optional username and profile photo, and a securely hashed password (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
• Your content: designs, uploaded images, brand kits, folders and the settings you choose. These are stored so you can access them from any device.
• Billing records: subscription status and payment receipts from our payment provider. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Technical data: sign-in sessions (with a browser description so you can review your devices), security logs and error reports needed to keep the service working.
• Optional analytics: only if you opt in via the cookie banner, pseudonymous counts of features used. No IP addresses or design content are included.

Images processed on your device

Most quick tools (compressor, resizer, converter, cropper, filters, blur, watermark, OCR, metadata remover, object eraser and others) run inside your browser. When you use them without saving, your image is not uploaded to our servers. The background remover sends a resized copy of your photo (at most 1024 pixels) to our own server, where an open-source AI model creates the cutout mask; you can choose on-device processing instead. Background removal and some conversions your browser cannot perform (such as creating AVIF files) are processed in memory on our server and are not stored.

Cloud AI providers

If the operator of this service has enabled a cloud AI provider and you choose a cloud AI option (it is always labelled and uses credits), the image and prompt you submit are sent to that provider to produce the result. Providers process the data under their own terms; we only send what is needed for the requested operation. You can turn cloud AI off completely in Settings → Preferences → Privacy. We do not use your designs or uploads to train AI models.

How we use information

• To provide the service: store and sync your work, render previews, deliver exports and shared links.
• To secure accounts: detect abuse, rate-limit suspicious activity, and send security emails such as password-change notices.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions and credits.
• To respond to support requests and improve the product (only with analytics consent).

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run RS Image Studio (hosting, file storage, email delivery, payments and — only when you choose it — AI processing), when required by law, or to protect users and the service. Designs you share by link are visible to anyone with that link until you disable it.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in, security and your preferences, and optional analytics cookies only with your consent. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Retention

Your content is kept while your account is active. Items you move to Trash are deleted permanently after 30 days. When you delete your account, your designs, uploads and settings are deleted from our database and file storage; payment records are retained as required for accounting, without design content.

Your rights and choices

• Access and portability: download a copy of your account data from Settings → Preferences → Your data.
• Correction: update your profile at any time.
• Deletion: delete your account from Settings → Preferences → Delete account.
• Consent: change your cookie choices from the footer link "Cookie preferences" at any time.

Security

Passwords are hashed with a memory-hard algorithm, session tokens are stored only as hashes, files are served through short-lived signed links, and access to every project and file is checked on the server. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Children

RS Image Studio is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
